Rochester Area Coffeehouses and Golden Link. Two good places to start in the land of Kodak and Xerox.

Cornell Folk Song Club sponsors all sorts of cool stuff in Ithaca. Folkstuff is about folk/acoustic music in the Ithaca area.

Internet Folk Radio Database purports to provide a complete listing of folk radio offerings nationwise. Also, here is the Folk-DJ listserv's site, which has a lot of playlists and stuff, so you can see what the rest of the country is folking to.

The Muse's Muse is a resource site for songwriters.

Dirty Linen and Sing Out!. Two national folkie magazines, also on the web
